It's true, Scarpetta's spaghetti really is the best (I've ever had) and I've eaten a LOT of spaghetti. It's been over a week and I can't stop thinking about it. Oh what I'd do for that recipe. My husband who loathes spaghetti if it's not Bolognese style ate this all up and raved about it as well. It's just simple, damn good spaghetti.
I made a reservation here as I was staying at the Fontainebleau for a few days. The fresh pasta options drew me in initially. The table side bread and spaghetti would bring me back.
From start to finish, the service was impeccable. As mentioned, the bread basket had me eating WAY too much bread. Who could say no to a fresh hot variety of breads with delicious dips!? There was a trio of infused olive oil, mascarpone butter, and an amazing marinated eggplant dip. That dip was so savory and purely delicious. Complemented the bread so well!
For appetizers, we did the frutti which came with calamari, squid, fish, and zucchini among a few other things if I remember correctly. This was also fried perfectly and done well.
For entrees, our waiter said 2-3 pastas would be perfect for two people. 3 was actually plenty! We did the duck and foie gras ravioli, short rib agnolotti, and the spaghetti. I loved the texture of the fresh pastas of the first two mentioned, but was easily overwhelmed by the strong flavors within the ravioli and agnolotti. I love savory dishes very much, but these were too much for both of us flavor-wise actually.
For dessert we went with the warm chocolate cake, finished off with some espresso. Cake was good but wish the chocolate was more molten vs. ganache.
In all, we were satisfied and would come again for the spaghetti and to try other dishes. It was absolutely worth the money! -

Went with my team to Scarpetta after a very long day - so long that we really didn't want to be there. Sure, Scott Conant is a well known chef but our energy was lacking. We were dead wrong and ended up having a great night.
I started with an arugula salad. It was literally the best salad I have ever had. Pine nuts, a quality cheese and a bright vinaigrette absolutely exploded with flavor. Duck fois gras ravioli was out of this world phenomenal. The pasta was perfection while the inside was a flavor bomb. Shared desserts including scrumptious donuts and a variety of ice creams topped a wonderful experience.
When a meal changes your day you know you have encountered greatness. Can't wait for my next chance to eat at one of Scott's establishments. -

(((Long overdue review)))
I'll sell my husband's soul for Scarpetta spaghetti recipe!
Arrived a teeny bit early to our dinner reservation time. They didn't mind and hostess sat us. Yes, we booked the dinner at their opening hour. That urge for the spaghetti was great. Our server was truly a wonderful guy. Somme was pure hospitality and knowledgeable. Ordered their usual delicious appetizers and TWO orders of spaghetti (that was my main entree alone) my husband ordered his own delicious meal. Wine after wine. More wine! Dessert. Dessert wine!
We spent really long time at the restaurant and they don't seems to want to let us go either! Great food, great wine, great companions.... makes up for heavenly memory! Sigh~ can't wait till next trip to Miami. -

Located in the Fountain Bleu resort - delicious Italian food and good service. Our server was very attentive and was always around to ensure we were satisfied with our meals. There were 4 of us so here are our orders:
Drinks - Prosecco was yummy, full tequila bar, great wine list, and their mocktail special of muddled strawberries in a lemon lime lemonade was the star of the drinks!
Complimentary fresh bread - I normally wouldn't comment on this, except for that the bread was really delicious. 3 different kinds, with garlic olive oil, whipped butter, and eggplant dips. Winner.
Starters - scallops were delicious, but you get 2 for $22, which in my opinion is over priced, but then again, Miami. Friends split the arugula salad which was really tasty.
Main entrees - ricotta gnocchi, delicious and very well made. Slightly under salted but I added some and it was perfect. Clam pasta, so so good and the clam flavor wasn't overpowering. The chicken, delicious flavors, well seasoned, and good portion. The pasta special (bolognese), very good and the short rib in the bolognese was unique.
Overall, a little overpriced for portion size, but good experience and food. -

YESSSSSSS
Thank you Chef Scott Conant for this delicious experience! I went recently for the first time to try out the Miami Spice menu, and it did not disappoint. I also opted for the wine pairing option for an addition $25, which was fantastic as the wines really complemented the flavors in each course. They also provide a nice bread selection with butter, olive oil, and a wonderful eggplant spread.
First course:
Burrata - classic burrata dish with fresh heirloom tomatoes. Paired with a refreshing rosé. My boyfriend ordered the octopus which was incredible.
Main course:
Spaghetti - I had heard a lot about this dish and man does it live up to the hype. It's a very basic dish with tomato and basil, but it's the quality of the pasta that made it stand out. Freshly made, you can tell with the texture that it was cooked with love. My boyfriend ordered the duck ravioli and it was equally delicious. Paired with red wine.
Dessert:
Amedei bar - I'm a huge fan of hazelnut, so this hit the spot. Paired with Prosecco.
Overall a great deal for Miami Spice. Parking is available on site valet for $15 once validated by the restaurant. There is a lot nearby but it's $20. Tip is included in the bill.
